The Spirits' Book (Le Livre des Esprits) is a seminal work in the Spiritist Codification, recognized as one of the five foundational texts of Spiritism. Authored by the French educator Allan Kardec and first published on April 18, 1857, it holds a distinguished place in the study of Spiritism, addressing a comprehensive range of questions later explored by Kardec.

Structurally, the book presents a series of inquiries concerning the origins of spirits, the purpose of life, the nature of good and evil, the cosmos, and concepts surrounding the afterlife.
